About PayPlanCalc

PayPlanCalc offers free calculators for the money decisions Americans make most often — buying a home, financing a car, understanding a paycheck, paying down debt and saving for retirement.

What we believe

A calculator should show its work. Every PayPlanCalc tool uses standard, published formulas — the same amortization math lenders use and the tax tables the IRS publishes — and every page explains how the result is calculated, with a worked example you can check by hand.

How we keep numbers accurate

Each calculator is tested against known reference values (for example, a $300,000 mortgage at 6.5% for 30 years must produce a $1,896.20 monthly payment). Tax and paycheck tools use 2026 figures from IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32 and the Social Security Administration, and we review them when new figures are released.

Your privacy

All calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details about cookies and advertising.
